Today's magnesium market, magnesium price trend

The main magnesium producing areas in China from January to December were: Shanxi: 293,498 tons, down 2.6% year on year. Henan province was 19,1383 tons, down 9.7% year on year.

Shaanxi: 250,512 tons, up 28% year on year. Ningxia: 89,537 tons, up 13.2 percent.

Chinese magnesium production edged up 1 per cent

Beijing, Feb. 07, 2012 China's magnesium production in the January-December period was 660,603 tons, up a small 1% year on year, according to data announced by the China Non-Ferrous Metals Association.

In December, magnesium production was 49,351 tons.
