The tank is protected by a sacrific anode system that is simple to install and does not cause erosion interference, but will not be adequately protected unless the tank is well insulated from piping and other systems. Once the tank is short-circuited with any of the above departments, not only will the tank reach the protection problem, but also the sacrificial anode system will be exhausted quickly and the protection life will be short. If only anticorrosive layer is used without cathodic protection, because the coating at the weld will be destroyed, forming a large cathode and a small anode, which will accelerate the erosion and perforation speed of the storage tank.
